We discuss this idea a lot in class. Gender and sex are not the same thing and when you’re born into a society where your gender is already chosen it is difficult for some to branch out. Gender roles for example are like saying girls like pink and boys like blue. We are raised this way and a lot of people struggle with trying to stay inside these lines.
